Proton Therapy

Proton therapy is a highly advanced and precise form of radiation treatment for tumors. Unlike other methods, it concentrates more energy directly on the tumor, while reducing radiation exposure to nearby healthy tissues.

Proton therapy delivers precise proton beams to target and destroy tumor cells while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. Unlike traditional radiation, it allows for more accurate targeting of tumors, reducing side effects.
Proton therapy is primarily used for cancer treatment, but it can also address noncancerous (benign) tumors in both children and adults. The precision of proton beams makes it effective for treating tumors of various cell types, located in different areas of the body.
Proton therapy precisely targets tumor cells with higher radiation doses while sparing healthy tissue. This reduces side effects and lowers the risk of secondary cancers.
